Terms and Conditions
All table reservations for the Badminton Lakeside are made through TGI Sport (on behalf of Badminton Horse Trials) and are made upon and subject to the following Terms and Conditions. No variations will be accepted unless otherwise agreed in advance and in writing.
1. Interpretations
In these terms and conditions ‘TGI Sport’ means TGI Sport (on behalf of Badminton Horse Trials) and the ‘Client’ means the individual person or company booking.
2. Badminton Horse Trials Entry
Car passes and individual entry is not included in the cost of bookings and must be purchased separately through the Badminton Horse Trials Website: www.badminton-horse.co.uk The Box Office will open on Wednesday 3rd January 2024 for those who have booked tickets in the last few years whilst general release will be available from Wednesday 10th January 2024. 3. Guest numbers
Unless otherwise agreed in advance and in writing by TGI Sport, guest numbers per table are limited to the maximum numbers detailed for each table on the Badminton Lakeside website. Due to limited space within each area, items such as prams and garden chairs are not permitted in the immediate vicinity of the Client’s table. Strictly no private structures, portable tables or chairs are permitted within the Badminton Lakeside tables area.
4. Payment & Confirmation
The booking is not confirmed until full payment has been received and confirmation of the reservation is sent by TGI Sport.
5. Cancellation
If the event is cancelled, prepaid tickets will be refunded upon request within 28 days following the event, in full in respect of any day that is cancelled before the start of that day’s competition. In respect of items covering the whole event (Season Tickets, Camping Site, etc). the following proportions will be refunded: cancelled before Wednesday or Thursday starts 100%; before Friday 85%; before Saturday 60%; before Sunday 15%
In addition, should the Client choose to cancel, a cancellation charge will be imposed and payable on demand in the event of a cancellation of all or any part of the Event after acceptance. The amounts are due as liquidated damages and not as a penalty and will be calculated in accordance with the following schedule:
Notice of cancellation received more than 90 days before the event – full refund.
Notice of cancellation received within 60 days of the event – 50% refund.
Notice of cancellation received within 30 days of the event – no refund due.
6. Adverse weather
The Client agrees that TGI Sport does not accept any responsibility for any disruption caused to the event by adverse weather conditions. Please note there is no guarantee of shelter if we are to experience inclement weather. Umbrellas are not to be used in the Lakeside Garden or Small Garden on the Sunday.
7. View
Tables are priced according to the view they have, and we will do our utmost to ensure guests have the best possible view and ask that you are mindful of those around you. Please note that Photographers and field of play officials will be in close proximity to the enclosure.
8. Personal possessions
TGI Sport accepts no liability for the loss or damage of any personal items of the Client and their guests including but not restricted to mobile phones, handbags, personal shopping and items of clothing, within the Badminton Lakeside complex. No personal items should be left unattended at any time.
9. Timings
Your table will be available from 8am until 5pm. Please note that we will no longer be restricting admission to the Badminton Lakeside Garden areas nor carrying out table service after this time.
10. Admission to Lakeside Garden
TGI Sport reserves the right to refuse entry and eject individuals from all areas operated by TGI Sport and its contractors within the Badminton Lakeside. Admission may be refused by TGI Sport and its contractors for any reason but is not limited to the prevention of misuse of illegal substances, the prevention and detection of illegal weapons, the health and safety of the general public, the health and safety of members of staff and licensing restrictions.
11. Advertised Hospitality Prices
Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to ensure the services are provided as advertised, TGI Sport reserve the right to change the Hospitality Package (including but not limited to, timings and prices), and arrangements, as long as in the opinion of TGI Sport, it does not materially change the substance of the Hospitality Package. Entry to the event is not part of the advertised Hospitality Package.
12. Change of Conditions
These Terms and Conditions are subject to change from time to time without notice, at the discretion of TGI Sport.
